If your check engine light is on all the time you could be damaging your catalytic converter, so have it checked soon. Cat converters are very expensive to replace. Cheap converters last about 2 years so get a good one when you have to replace yours.
Accessories
Turn your ignition switch back one tick if your accessories do not come on for a few minutes after starting your car.

Check your tire pressures often, your safety is important. Most tires perform very well at 30 psi, some high performance tires may vary.
